Grammar for Teachers
Contents Are there really so many exceptions to the rule in English grammar, or are we as teachers perhaps not fully aware of the rules? Is the language really as illogical as some of our students maintain? The aim of this course is to increase teachers' awareness of how English works by providing them with an in-depth analysis of the grammatical aspects of the language. With this heightened awareness of the structures of the language, teachers will become more sensitized to their learners' needs and problems, and far better equipped to deal with them. This seminar is intended for relatively inexperienced teachers of English.
